On June 9, 2024, the Philippine Embassy in Korea and Wish 107.5 teamed up to bring a slice of Filipino culture to Busan with “Pistang Pinoy sa Korea 2024.” Held at the vibrant Busan Eurasia Platform, Outdoor Plaza, 210 Jungang-daero, Dong-gu, Busan, this event was a grand celebration of Filipino heritage and community.
GME Finance Philippines was proud to join this exciting event to show our support for the Filipino community in Korea. A key highlight of the day was the unveiling of the brand-new Wish Bus. The #WishBusSouthKorea launch was a spectacular affair, featuring live performances from popular Filipino artists such as SB19, Zack Tabudlo, Zephanie, HORI7ON, and Esay Belanio. Their energetic and heartfelt performances were a testament to the rich musical talent of the Philippines.
“Pistang Pinoy sa Korea 2024” was not just about music and entertainment; it was also a momentous occasion that marked the 126th Philippine Independence Day, the 29th National Migrant Workers Day, and the 75th Anniversary of Philippines-Korea Diplomatic Relations. These celebrations highlighted the deep and enduring ties between the Philippines and Korea, as well as the significant contributions of Filipino migrants to both countries.
The event was a fantastic opportunity for GME to connect with the community, celebrate Filipino culture, and support our fellow Filipinos in Korea. The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and a strong sense of community, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.
